A new book publishing venture from Adam Michaels, principal of NYC graphic design studio Project Projects whets our appetite with it's inaugural Fall collection...
There is always room on the Grafik bookshelf for more beautifully designed art books so we were delighted to hear about Inventory Press, a new publishing venture just launched by Adam Michaels of New York design studio Project Projects. With these credentials, expectations are high for impressively designed books about intriguing subjects, with impeccable production values.
The first three titles, from Inventory Books’ Fall collection set the tone: A collection of legendary folk guitarist John Fahey’s late abstract paintings; artist Marc Fisher’s exploration of esoteric material culture from hidden archives; and a compilation of mid-century furniture catalogues by artist Amie Siegel.
