Foodie bible The Gourmand serves up an illustration-packed recipe book as part of a collaboration with shelving masters Vitsœ for New York’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
London-based food culture journal The Gourmand has carved an excellent niche for itself. Not only is it a beautifully produced bible for those passionate about both food and long-form writing, but its events programme, pop-up dining socials and brand tie-ins are always innovative and perfectly in keeping with its top-notch design credentials.
The latest is a collaboration with iconic shelving brand Vitsœ for the upcoming International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York. For four days, the magazine will transform the brand’s New York store into a neighbourhood fruit stall, serving afternoon tea from the Dieter Rams-designed shelves. The icing on the cake is a limited-edition recipe book that will be available for free to visitors and includes fruit-themed illustrations from Bruce Usher, Jamie Brown, Gwendal Le Bec, Yann Le Bec, and Jean Jullien.
