The latest instalment of Fedrigoni's Made in Italy opens this week with Bodoni in Print – another must-see exhibition of luscious Italian (and Italian-influenced) graphic design.

Silvio Coppola, Laminati Plastici 2 (1969)

We're delighted that Made in Italy (an ongoing collaboration between paper company Fedrigoni and Bryan Edmondson of SEA Design) will be returning to Grafik HQ this week with a new exhibition and a very special accompanying book.

The follow-up to last year's hugely successful show which focussed on the often unseen masters of Italian graphic design, Bodoni in Print focuses on the much-loved typeface. The iconic typeface was designed in 1767 by ‘King of Printers’ / ‘Prince of Typographers’ Giambattista Bodoni, and the exhibition takes both a historical and contemporary perspective. It includes many rarely-seen original pieces which are on loan from Museo Bodoniano Archive in Parma, the AIAP Archive in Milan and Monotype's extensive collection. As well as historical sample books and drawings, there are key pieces by the likes of Paul Rand, Massimo Vignelli and Peter Saville.

The exhibition runs from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 June at Protein Gallery in Shoreditch, and a series of talks will accompany the show. Entry is free, but be sure to reserve your ticket here.

SEA Design has created a special book to mark the occasion, and we have ten copies (along with the limited edition Heinz Waibl Berlin poster below) to give away to ten lucky Grafik readers.

To be in with a chance of winning, just send an email to giveaway@grafik.net with ‘Bodoni’ in the subject box, telling us the name of the art director of Fedrigoni's quarterly magazine. Deadline is June 6, and you can find the answer here.
