In the first of our special Christmas series of Objekts of Desire, here’s your chance to win a triptych of stunning metallic prints from Tom Pigeon, inspired by Euclid, the father of modern geometry.
Whether creating graphic prints or sculptural necklaces, minimalism and geometric shapes are at the heart of design studio Tom Pigeon’s impressive product range. Launched in 2014 by husband and wife duo Peter and Kirsty Thomas, the studio specialises in simple, well-crafted prints, jewellery and stationery and, despite only launching this year, their stunning objects are now stocked in Skandium, the Barbican and The Design Museum.
As part of our Christmas Objekts of Desire series, Pete and Kirsty have kindly given us a set of their Euclid prints to present to one lucky winner. Developed in collaboration with Selfridges, each of the prints illustrates a mathematical proposition described in Euclid’s writings The Elements – widely regarded as one of the most import maths books ever written. The prize is a set of three limited edition prints, embossed with the Tom Pigeon stamp, featuring a brass metallic foil design on heavyweight 270gsm Pristine White Colorplan paper by GF Smith. The prints are foiled using a traditional technique in the North West of England.
For your chance to win a set of three Euclid prints (worth £90), send an email to giveaway@grafik.net with the subject line ‘Euclid’ telling us where the Tom Pigeon studio is located (Hint: You might want to look on their website). Your answer must reach us on or before 1 January 2015 and please don’t forget the subject line to make sure you are entered for the correct giveaway.
