Grafik is very proud to be supporting one of the toughest but most prestigious awards schemes around – the ISTD’s International TypoGraphic Awards 2014.
The International Society for Typographic Designers (ISTD) has just launched the Call for Entries for its International TypoGraphic Awards 2014. The only awards scheme exclusively devoted to recognising typographic excellence within all things graphic design-related, the scheme is a complete antidote to some of the more commercially-driven advertising and marketing-led awards schemes around.
Typography is one of the essential building blocks of graphic design, and the awards seek to recognise shining examples of its application across a wide range of media, including print, screen and environmental graphics. Past winners have included MuirMcNeill, Studio Myerscough, Cartlidge Levene and A2/SW/HK. It's no surprise that the best designers are also great typographers.
Deadline for entries is 6 June (with an earlybird discount for entry by 14 May) and if previous years are anything to go by, competition will be fierce. Full details can be found at istd.org.uk/
